Application of the Decission Making Theory in GIS in the locality of Nový Lískovec
Hírešová, Tatiana ; Viktorová, Stanislava (referee) ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with multicriterial analysis in geographic information systems. Multricriterial decision making is applied in locality of Nový Lískovec and deals with problems connected with housing in panel block of flats located in this locality. The main aim of the thesis is use right method for multicriterial evaluation of this locality by the most important criteria for housing, graphical expression of these factors by GIS and assessment and evaluation the best variants resulting from specific values of criteria. In the thesis is subsequently addressed issue of GIS, multicriterial decision making, locality of Nový Lískovec, collection of input documents and process of spatial analysis. The thesis points out at the application GIS for estate agencies or others organizations providing housing offers and graphical displaying the best variants based on a many search-housing criteria.
Fuzzy Preference Structures in Multicriterial Decision Making

Public contract awarding
MIKYŠKA, Vojtěch
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the issue of the public contract awarding with focus on the system of selection of the best offer. The theoretical part describes the theory of the multicriterial decision making, the methods of priorities determination and the selection of a compromise variant. The practical part pays attention not only to the current situation in public contract awarding in civil engineering but especially to a practical use of the multicriterial classification of the offers in particular public contract. The conclusion compares the results of the multicriterial decision making methods with the actual winner of the contract.

Sosnovcová, Lucie ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Sekničková, Jana (referee)
The most important aspect in the financial decsion making in buying the property is the financing method, price of the property and how much you need to borrow. The goal of this thesis is to show to the reader at least a basics theories of entering and process of the public procurement and formulate complex process from the assign of procurement through the realization to methods of financing. The goal is the utilization of the methods of multicriterial variants evaluation when evaluating particular products, financing options for the specific property won in the public procurement and researching suitability of individual multicriterial methods. The goal is theoretical description and practical analysis of fundamental mortgage loans with fixed rate and also description of today's mortgage market. The core of this thesis is the chapter with results of the multicriterial optimalization used to the organization and evaluation of individual variants for selected type of loan. In the onclusion is chosen generally the best product.
Apply the methods of multicriterial decision making in the public sector
DUŠEK, Jan
The main purpose of this thesis was the application of the multicriterial decision making options methods on specific decision situations in the public sector. The task was to present the most important methods and to show the possibility of their use in reality. From the methods requiring ordinal information I chose the Cook - Seiford method which can be utilized when the sources are limited. From the cardinal data requiring methods I chose the Weighted Sum Approach method and the AHP method (based on the calculation of values of the utility function), the TOPSIS method (based on the minimization of distance from the ideal option) and the ELECTRE I. method (based on the plotting of the preferential relation).
Evaluation of territories from the perspective of multicriteria decision making
Vondrušková, Hana ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with selecting the best places to live from the student perspective, the University of Economics, Prague. The paper briefly describes methods of multicriteria decision making. Selected methods (ELECTRE III, PROMETHEE II, WSA, TOPSIS and ORESTE) are then used to assess regions of the Czech Republic. This role is based on real data of the Czech Republic region and the students' preferences regarding place of residence. Information about the preferences of students was obtained by questionnaire survey of students of the University of Economics, Prague. Data processing was used in addition to MS Excel - Sanna.
Quantitative methods in athletic multicontests
Taborski, Jan ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Irena (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with evaluation methods of athletic multicontests, especially man decathlon. The main aim of the work is to analyze thoroughly a contemporary way of classification of points that has been used since 1984 and then propose new methods to modify or substitute the contemporary way of classification if needed. The main criterion for evaluation will be the equal way of classification of all disciplines. These methods are described in the theoretical part of the work and they are divided into mere adjustments of current curves for particular disciplines and methods drown from multicriterion evaluation of options. In the practical part, these methods are applied on real results, specifically on 100 best decathlons in history and on the last Olympic race. A specific evaluation of the application results emanates from the results of the application as well as final recommendation.
Combination of simulation methods and methods of multicriterial decision while purchasing mobile tariffs by companies.
Millová, Terézia ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Digoň, Daniel (referee)
Because of the high penetration of private market, mobile operators are forced to focus on the services offered to another customer segment. Recently, corporate customers are seen as a promising segment and the competition within this segment is rising significantly. The growth of the competition and offer enhancement force companies to understand the decision making process in purchasing mobile services as much as possible. It is not only time consuming but also financially demanding for management even in small firms. This decision making process, that the companies go through, is the main topic of this Master Thesis. Main goal is neither to choose particular vendor of the mobile services nor to choose particular mobile tariff from the recent market offer but to inform about possibilities proposed by mathematical methods in the decision making area. In the Master Thesis different methods are suggested, compared and combined with the target to enable companies to make the right decision concerning their specific requirements.
